Aluminum is now the second most widely used metal in the world, after iron. This is because Aluminum has a unique combination of attractive properties. Low weight (about 1/3 of steel; even when constructed with thicker walls it is mostly only 50% of steel), high strength, superior malleability, easy machining, excellent corrosion resistance and good thermal and electrical conductivity are amongst Aluminum’s most important properties.
Anodizing increases the thickness of the oxide layer and thus improves the strength of the natural corrosion protection.
In addition, when anodized, it creates a fine silk-like mat surface and confers a dynamic line avancon design.
Since 1909 airplanes have been made of Aluminum. Now, also the car industry has discovered this material. Also. most Computers and other products from Apple are made of anodized Aluminum.
The extrusion of aluminium enabled us to give the avancon profile frames an elegant, modern, aesthetic, sleek and clean shape on the outside, while at the same time forming all the ribs into which most elements are simply snapped.
The insides of these avancon anodised aluminium profiles are simply shaped with ribs. Thanks to sophisticated technology, all elements such as the ball bearing housing, the 5-Z belt drives, the avancon control system, the avancon photo sensors and the cables are securely and easily snapped in and mounted without screws or tools.
Only the avancon flat BLDC geared motor, which is housed in the closed profile frame, is fastened with two screws.
These ribs also increase the mechanical strength and utilisation rigidity of the frame platform.
The holes are milled fully automatically (CAD/CAM) only for the necessary elements and are completely closed after assembly by the elements used.
There is only one elegant and anodised avancon aluminium profile for the feet/uprights, the cross beams, the ceiling fixings, the wall beams and the supports and for many other applications. (A300)c.
About 95 % of all aluminum used is recycled today. This cost much less than using new materials and much less than steel to recycle and it reduces drastically the pollution and energy consumption.
